United Daughters of the Confederacy meets

MARIANNA — The William Henry Milton Chapter 1039, United Daughters of the Confederacy, meets at Jim’s Buffet and Grill, 11 a.m. Feb. 9 for a Dutch-treat lunch, followed by ritual and program, “ Sidney Lanier, Soldier, Poet, Musician, Writer.” The history and heritage group welcomes female descendants of Confederate veterans to meet the second Tuesday of each month, September-November and January –May.
