Out and back 5K run/walk through Navarre residential neighborhoods. The entire route is paved and will be clearly marked. This is a great route for runners, walkers, and wheelchair participants. There will be a free 1 mile kids run. This is a great race the entire family can enjoy. The staging area will be at the Bennett C. Russell Stadium/Concession area. Restroom facilities with running water will be provided.Awards - Runners Fastest male & female overall, masters (40+), grandmasters (50+), & great grandmaster (60+). Five deep, Male & Female in each age group. Runners Age Groups 7 & under, 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+ Awards - Walkers Fastest male & female overall, masters (40+), grandmasters (50+), & great grandmaster (60+). Four deep, Male & Female in each age group. Walkers Age Groups 13 & under; 14-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+ Awards - Wheel Chair First and Second Place.The 5K course is fast, flat with minimum curves and no inclines and has two straight aways approximately .75 miles long each. The race will start from the Navarre High School going east on High School Blvd, pass by the Navarre Youth Sports Complex, right on Pawnee Drive pass the Betty Pullum YMCA, right on Shipton Street, left on Ortega Street, right on Branston Drive, right on Hartington, left on Ortega Street, left on High School Blvd finishing in front of Navarre High School.
