For a full review of this haunt visit my site www.HauntersInc.com. But for now, here is the "Cliff Notes" version. Ready?
I lost my freaking voice during this haunt. Now that's a testimony. Can I hear an "amen"? Can I hear a "praise God"? Most of my screams were from pure pleasure, not fits of fright, but come on... What more can you ask for?
Professionalism was key at this event. They had the beer, they had the food, and they had the giant screen to show a documentary on the back story behind warehouse 31's location.
From the outside all seemed to be running orderly and many of the props used for this haunt were definitely Hollywood level. I have been through tons of haunts in my life and I have to admit, these sets were stunning. To be honest that would have to be one of my complaints concerning Warehouse 31. The necessary evil of needing to push hundreds and hundreds of bodies through the hallways all night doesn't allow one to really take in the workmanship, detail, and sick beauty of the horrorscapes inside. Maybe that is just a good enough excuse to go through it all over again.
Some of the rooms and events that stood out the most to me were the claustrophobia tunnel (I am very weak to these and this one was probably the best exucuted that I have been through), the black hole room (I am telling you... this one was done right... its the ol' spinning tunnel room, but really amped the f- up. I challenge anyone to make it across the room without holding on to the rails!), and the autopsy style room. (Dead bodies lie upon tables with grotesque, monsterous creatures eating their way through them. Truly fabulous fun I tell you.
Okay. So, bottom line. The price tag is a little steep. Maybe even steeper depending on what ticket you splurge for. BUT, I must say, I must say, sometimes you really do get what you pay for. This haunt is a lot of fun and if you are weak
to monsters hunting you down in close quarters and all with the whole atmosphere of authenticity (that means... the settings are really realistic man!) then you can't do much better than Warehouse 31. If you have some extra bucks and want to really unhinge your girlfriend I suggest going for the R.I.P ticket. Your hosts will go out of their way to make your stay much more memorable and personal. What better way to get the new chick with the big "you know whats" that actually agreed to go out
with your ass, to jump on top of you for dear life.
